Who may use PestPaid

PestPaid is offered only to businesses established in the United States. It is not offered to people, and it is not offered outside the United States. If you are not a United States business, please do not sign up. We refuse any subscription with a billing address outside the United States, and we may close an account we find is not eligible.

You also agree not to use PestPaid to hold information about people located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. If that stops being true — if you take on work there — tell us at contact@pestpaid.com, and we will either agree something in writing or end your account fairly.

You must be old enough to enter a contract, and you must have the authority to agree to these terms for your company.

Your account

You are responsible for who you let into your account and what they do there. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us at once if you think somebody else has them.

You may invite team members. Each of them can only do what their role allows. A technician only ever sees the jobs assigned to him, and never sees a price.

What you pay

• Every new account gets a 14-day free trial. We do not ask for a card to start it.
• After the trial, PestPaid costs $19 per month, or $190 per year, in United States dollars. Dollars are the only currency we accept.
• Lemon Squeezy handles the payment and is the seller of record for your subscription. Their terms cover the payment itself.
• If the trial ends, or a payment fails and stays unpaid, your account becomes read-only. You keep being able to read everything. You just cannot add or change anything until you subscribe. We do this on purpose, so nobody is ever locked away from his own records.
• You can cancel at any time. You keep working until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not give refunds for part of a period.
• If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

How your clients pay you

PestPaid never touches the money your own clients pay you. Your invoices show your bank details, and your client pays you by bank transfer, directly. We do not process card payments for you, we do not hold your money, and we are not a party to that payment. Where an invoice sits in our system is a record of what you told us, not proof that anybody paid.

Everything on your invoices — your prices, your tax rate, your bank details — is yours to get right. Please check them.

Who owns what

Your data stays yours. Your clients, your jobs, your invoices. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to train anything or to build industry reports.

PestPaid itself — the software, the design, the name — stays ours.

You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your data, show it back to you, and send the emails you ask us to send.

Your data, and what you must not put in it

You must have the right to hold the information about your clients that you put into PestPaid, and you must follow the laws that apply to you when you collect it.

Please do not type health information into a notes field. Notes are for the work, not for anything about a person’s health or condition. Those fields are not built to protect that kind of information, and laws in several states treat it very differently.

What we promise, and what we do not

We work hard to keep PestPaid running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable and we do not promise it will never have a fault.

PestPaid is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost business, or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

Nothing here removes a right you have that the law says cannot be removed.

Stopping

You can close your account at any time, from Settings. We remove your data as described in our Privacy Policy, except for the invoices we must keep for accounting.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is not a United States business, or that we must close to follow the law. Except in a serious case, we will warn you first and give you a fair chance to get your data out.

Changes to these terms

If we change something that matters, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect, and put the new effective date at the top of this page. If you do not agree with a change, you can close your account before it applies.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of Tunisia.
